Female Created

“As in all the churches of the saints, the women should keep silent in the churches. For they are not permitted to speak, but should be in submission, as the Law also says. If there is anything they desire to learn, let them ask their husbands at home. For it is shameful for a woman to speak in church.” 1 Corinthians 14:34

It would seem to most message believers that if you are a male you are automatically endowed with more spiritual understanding and knowledge of the word than a female.

Women belong in the kitchen, they are to be silent in church, wash their husband’s clothing, cook his meals, and submit in all areas.  Message believers are taught that women are so low and beneath men, they are not even part of creation.

Look, a woman is not even so low… She’s not even a creation in God. She’s a by-product. After God made the whole creation He took a piece off of a man and made a woman. She wasn’t even considered in the original creation. Correctly. She become a helpmate to man. And through there she’s supposed to live for that.

When a woman gets out of the kitchen she’s out of her place. Whether she’s preaching the Gospel or whatever she’s doing, she’s out of her place. Man was not made for woman, but woman was made for man. Man is not a by-product of a woman, but the woman is a by-product of the man. -WMB 560715

by-product
noun
1. a secondary or incidental product, as in a process of manufacture.
2. the result of another action, often unforeseen or unintended.

You’d never look at a woman going down the street and tell what’s in her heart. See? But I wanted to say these things so that you could see why that Satan is her designer. That’s exactly right, his own son proved it, Cain. Now, she is beautiful so she can deceive.  –WMB 650221

We’s all condemned through Eve through hybreeding. That’s exactly right. All of us come to that spot through Eve. Eve caused the whole human race to fall. Her and Adam are one. She… It started with the woman. It’ll end with a woman  -WMB 601113

He would blast and condemn every bobbed-haired woman. How could he do anything else? He’s a prophet. And that’s the Word. He’d say, “You, Jezebels!” He’d get rough with them. Why? He’s a prophet. He’d have to stay with the Word. That’s right. You think they would stop? No, sir. They’d say, “It’s a fanatic. He’s as bad as that old Paul was, in the Bible, woman-hater.”  -WMB 620513

“Brother Branham, why don’t you leave them women alone?” He said, “You know, people regard you as a prophet? Why don’t you teach them high spiritual things?” That man may be setting present. If it is, I want you to get this, brother. “Why don’t you teach them high spiritual things, where you climb, and let them climb there; instead of telling them about not cutting their hair, and the kind of dresses to wear?”
If you’re here, or hear the tape, brother. If I can’t get them out of kindergarten, how am I going to teach them algebra? They haven’t got the decency and morally–morality about them, to even let their hair grow out, and wear dress like ladies, how you going to teach them spiritual things? See? Now he… Don’t know the first, don’t know abc’s. And try to teach them something high, give them a college education, when they don’t know abc’s? Let learn abc’s first, and then we’ll–we’ll go on to that. -WMB 621210

These words have caused so much hurt, confusion, and oppression.  I do not feel these views can be supported by scripture.  They have done much damage and continue to do so.  God did see fit to create the woman.  He designed her, He gave her life, and He had a plan for her.  God loved his creation so much, that when they fell, He sent his only begotten Son into the world to redeem them.  The Gospel tells us that we are to go into all the world and preach the Good News unto every creature,  ALL of creation.  Woman was not only a part of this beautiful creation, she is also redeemed by the blood shed on Calvary.

She stands before Christ perfect and beautiful in His sight in her rightful place.  Paul told us, “There is no longer Jew or Gentile, slave or free, male and female. For you are all one in Christ Jesus.”

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him;
male and female he created them. And God blessed them. And God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” -Genesis 1

The woman is not happenstance.  God the Creator, the author of life is her Creator.  Psalm 139 reads,

For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth.  Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them.

It was always emphasized that the woman’s head was the man.  Without further context, you have an incomplete understanding.

But there is one thing I want you to know: The head of every man is Christ, the head of woman is man, and the head of Christ is God.

But among the Lord’s people, women are not independent of men, and men are not independent of women. For although the first woman came from man, every other man was born from a woman, and everything comes from God.  – 1 Corinthians 11

Women are indeed under the headship of the man, however, remember in the beginning God said “it is not good for man to be alone, I will make him a helper suitable for him.”  She is his helper and his companion.  Proverbs 31 speaks so beautifully of the woman God created and called her to be,

Who can find a virtuous and capable wife?
She is more precious than rubies.
Her husband can trust her,
and she will greatly enrich his life.
She brings him good, not harm,
all the days of her life.
She finds wool and flax
and busily spins it.
She is like a merchant’s ship,
bringing her food from afar.
She gets up before dawn to prepare breakfast for her household
and plan the day’s work for her servant girls.
She goes to inspect a field and buys it;
with her earnings she plants a vineyard.
she is energetic and strong,
a hard worker.
She makes sure her dealings are profitable;
her lamp burns late into the night.
Her hands are busy spinning thread,
her fingers twisting fiber.
She extends a helping hand to the poor
and opens her arms to the needy.
She has no fear of winter for her household,
for everyone has warm clothes.
She makes her own bedspreads.
She dresses in fine linen and purple gowns.
Her husband is well known at the city gates,
where he sits with the other civic leaders.
She makes belted linen garments
and sashes to sell to the merchants.
She is clothed with strength and dignity,
and she laughs without fear of the future.
When she speaks, her words are wise,
and she gives instructions with kindness.
She carefully watches everything in her household
and suffers nothing from laziness.
Her children stand and bless her.
Her husband praises her:
“There are many virtuous and capable women in the world,
but you surpass them all!”
Charm is deceptive, and beauty does not last;
but a woman who fears the LORD will be greatly praised.
Reward her for all she has done.
Let her deeds publicly declare her praise.

There are many examples in the Bible of God using women in various roles.  In the book of Acts when they entered in the upper room, there were both men and women praying together.  “These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren.”  The men did not go up and leave the women behind, nor did the men pray while the women sat silent in a corner.  They were of one accord.  Mary Magdalene was the first to witness Christ’s Resurrection.  Mary had been possessed with 7 devils.  A regular “Jezebel” in her day.  Mary walked with Christ, she sat with him and ate with Him.  Mary, a woman!

Now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils.  And she went and told them that had been with him, as they mourned and wept.  – Mark 16:9

Example after example is given of women not only used of God, but favored of God.  Mary, mother of Jesus, favored of God.  Contrary to message teaching, Mary wasn’t an incubator, Mary conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit.  How beautiful.

And he came to her and said, “Greetings, O favored one, the Lord is with you!  – Luke 1

And Mary said, “Behold, I am the servant of the Lord; let it be to me according to your word.”  -Luke 1

“Joseph, son of David,” the angel said, “do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife. For the child within her was conceived by the Holy Spirit.  -Matthew 1:20

Mary was blessed among women, and there are  many, many others that served the Lord their God and honored Him with their lives in various roles and offices.  Miriam danced with her tambourine, Deborah Judged, Phoebe was a deacon in the church, and Rahab the harlot saved her whole house.  I think one of my favorites is the courage of Jael.

Then Miriam the prophetess, the sister of Aaron, took a tambourine in her hand, and all the women went out after her with tambourines and dancing.  -Exodus 15:20

Now Deborah, a prophetess, the wife of Lappidoth, was judging Israel at that time.  -Judges 4:4

I commend to you our sister Phoebe, who is a deacon in the church in Cenchrea.  -Romans 16:11

When Priscilla and Aquila heard him preaching boldly in the synagogue, they took him aside and explained the way of God even more accurately.  -Acts 18:26

But when Sisera fell asleep from exhaustion, Jael quietly crept up to him with a hammer and tent peg in her hand. Then she drove the tent peg through his temple and into the ground, and so he died.  -Judges 4:21

Mordecai sent this reply to Esther: “Don’t think for a moment that because you’re in the palace you will escape when all other Jews are killed. If you keep quiet at a time like this, deliverance and relief for the Jews will arise from some other place, but you and your relatives will die. Who knows if perhaps you were made queen for just such a time as this?” – Esther 4

David replied to Abigail, “Praise the LORD, the God of Israel, who has sent you to meet me today! Thank God for your good sense!  – 1 Samuel 25

And the city and all that is within it shall be devoted to the LORD for destruction. Only Rahab the prostitute and all who are with her in her house shall live, because she hid the messengers whom we sent.  -Joshua 6:17

And there was a prophetess, Anna, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Asher.  -Luke 2:36

Now there was in Joppa a disciple named Tabitha, which, translated, means Dorcas. She was full of good works and acts of charity.  – Acts 9:36

She has done what she could and has anointed my body for burial ahead of time. I tell you the truth, wherever the Good News is preached throughout the world, this woman’s deed will be remembered and discussed.”  -Mark 14:8

Be encouraged my sisters, you are loved and called of God. You are part of redemption and you are called unto Salvation.  Know Him, serve Him, and study His word.  God created you female, and through you the beauty of His creation does shine.  Consider Him in all your ways and praise Him through your works.  God made you beautiful and you are found in His word.  You are complete when you walk according to the calling He has chosen for you.  Inside of you is a part of Him and He will lead you and guide you in this calling.  Serve Him and know Him in Spirit and in Truth.

“A wife of noble character who can find?  She is worth far more than rubies.”

  1. My thoughts are expressed in my web page, http://www.3curtains.com.
Also consider Luke 14:16-21. There was to be sent a servant (singular) at the calling of the wedding supper. There was a healing ministry that went out and compelled people to come whereas those invited guests simply gave excuses.

  2. Pamela, I think William Branham did literally believe that Satan was her designer, and not just the designer of her clothes. This is proven when you read all the many hateful things he said about women, such as being lower than dogs and any other kind of animal.

  3. I’m not sure what you are looking for. This is simply a blog. An opinion.

If you wish to share your own opinion that is completely up to you. You are free to do so.

  4. I try again. My last comment and post was not posted by you which gives me the impression that you are filtering what goes into your pages. Trust you sincerely is seeking for the Truth

  5. It’s pretty obvious that God created women physically the way he wanted them to be. When Bro. Branham said that Satan is her designer, I don’t think he meant that Satan designed her body. I think he is saying that Satan is her clothing designer and influences her to dress sexy.

  6. You heard me the first time.
Your response was nearly a year later. :)=

  7. BRO BANNON PLS STOP INTERPRETING THE SCRIPTURES. SINCE YOU CLAIM TO KNOW MORE THAN OUR PROPHET, NO PROB. BUT KINDLY MAKE THAT STATEMENT BRO BRANHAM MADE “IF YOU DO WHAT I TELL YOU,I WILL MEET YOU IN THE MORNING) my brother stop criticising others, come up with your own revelation or keep quite please. sisters kindly follow exactly what God gave to His servant and you will never regret. pls if you don’t believe Bro Branham, then stay away from the message.

  8. I knew from an early age sitting in the pews counting the time till the service was done that the message life was not for me. I did’t want to the the baby maker, the food maker, the subservient wife. I knew in hy heart that loving God, and living for him did not and should not be so hard. I have never regretted not even 1 day walking away (running actually) I can say it did take time to learn to live life out of conviction, not concerning the lenght of my skirt, the modesty of my apperance, not waiting for the decon repramand. But once free the heart flourishes, and I found life and love far away from the drama and and the fraud the many people that called themselved believers, but really were just sinners using religon as a mask to cover their own agendas and social groups. My only sadness if for my lovedones still ensnared in the mess. Too entangles, too blinded by the years of brainwashing to ever see the true light.

  9. “The lodges, I know, teach men to subdue their passions, to exercise brotherly love, to help each other in trouble. The lodges have helped some men to live better moral lives, and I have known rare cases in which the lodge ties were used to win souls. Many, many earnest, upright men strive to help themselves and to help others to a higher, nobler life by the lodges. Yet many Scriptures expressly forbid Christians to yoke up with unbelievers in the lodges. And the lodges, I have no doubt, as a general thing, deny the deity of Christ, deny the need for a new birth, and deceive millions of people who think they are saved without being born again. The lodges do good, but they do infinitely more harm.

So it is with women preachers. They do good, but how much harm they do! First, the rise of women preachers has meant the rise of multiplies sects of people with false doctrines of every kind. The Fox sisters and Spiritism, Mrs. White and Seventh Day Adventism, Mrs. Mary Baker Eddy and Christian Science, Mrs. Filmore and Unity, Mrs. Aimee Semple McPherson and the so-called ‘Foursquare Gospel,’ Pentecostalism and its vast majority of women preachers with the blight of sinless perfection doctrine, radical emotionalism, ‘speaking in tongues’ and trances, its overemphasis on healing that leads thousands to despair after false pretenses of healing—these things surely should warn us that there is infinite harm in women preaching.”

    William Branham?
No! John R. Rice the Baptist. A real Baptist not a “missionary Pentecostal” Baptist.

But, is John Rice correct or an old crank?

Is Joyce Myers in order or in rebellion?

Was Deborah in order or “in charge” or merely speaking that which she received?

Answer: JR Rice was a true Baptist according to that Baptist doctrinal position.

Joyce Myers IS out of order and in rebellion.

Deborah was NEVER in charge or in AUTHORITY. She was simply a conduit of the ONE WHO WAS IN CHARGE, namely the Most High.

Her position as a “prophetess” did not violate the AUTHORITY given the priesthood nor was she to minister at the altar of sacrifice. She did NOT officiate in the temple or in the temple grounds dedicated exclusively to male rule. The priests and the HIGH PRIEST not “priestess” were ordained to offer the morning and evening sacrifice. It was the priests who were chosen of God from a particular tribe to minister the sacred elements, none from among the females of the tribe were ordained to teach, officiate, rule, preach and certainly not to offer the necessary sacrifices. Paul alludes to this as, “also saith the LAW” in 1 Cor 14:34.

The issue is Deborah’s “authority” and my answer is: she had no authority in Israel to rule, teach, offer sacrifices or write Holy Scripture as did Moses and the later “writing prophets.” She was NOT among those who were moved of the Holy Spirit to instruct in doctrinal matters. In fact, her role as a “prophetess” was a REBUKE to the male population of Israel. They had sunk so low that God chose a female prophetess as a “judge” [not a ruler] over them to awaken any sense of gender priority. They, like so many men today have lapsed into apathy, futility, a feeling of powerlessness birthed by the ultra corrupt American political system. This disease has infected the American “professing” Christian Church. Many in name only.

We are reminded of ALL that is taught in Holy Writ concerning gender roles lest we too enter into rebellion and foolhardiness.

    GIFTS?
Certainly the female of the human family possess gifts. Even to the charismata but in so short a supply as to be all but absent.
PREACHING is a gift IF use lawfully and by those ordained.

PROPHECY? Men or like DEBORAH if in order and ALWAYS correct if foretelling.

PROPHECY as inspired preaching, teaching … “forthtelling?”
Assuredly but as proscribed by Scripture. And here it is that so many run aground. We will hear, “there is neither male nor female,” etc. And off to the races … REBELLION.

For the men in the “church” who have become emasculated, feminized, “house broken,” they are spiritual drones. Men without Biblical Testosterone. They are faded photographs of a bygone age. They are less than worthless they are splinters in the fingers of the young who seek the TRUE God and the TRUE Word of God.

Deborah was never in authority, she ministered only as far as revealed by the One True God. And even here, Barak was faithful to hear and obey the Word of the Lord. It is Barak and not Deborah mentioned in the Faith Hall of Fame as it were in Hebrews 11.

Does this depreciate the role of the regenerated woman? Of course not, it defines her role IF she truly desires to be obedient as “also saith the Law.”

Even so, come soon Lord Jesus

  10. I very much enjoyed your words Brother Ongoma. God Bless you.

Could we with ink the ocean fill,
And were the skies of parchment made,
Were every stalk on earth a quill,
    And every man a scribe by trade;
To write the love of God above
    Would drain the ocean dry;
Nor could the scroll contain the whole,
Though stretched from sky to sky.
    -Amen

  11. Thank you all for your decent posts friends. I thought it good also to add my two cents worth.
We apply the touchstone of inerrant truth all the time a teaching comes into question. The first step in this process is to be willing to reconcile any seeming contradiction in bible passages.

As regarding Paul’s directive, I take note of your concern as stated above: “Honestly, this is a difficult passage to understand when you ask how Deborah judged Israel without exercising authority. How does a prophetess prophecy when prophecy is considered instruction, does she then prophecy to women only? ”

You may want to verify that this happened during the era of the Judges. You may also want to consider that during this time spiritual order was wanting. It is written that “In those days there was no king in Israel, but every man did that which was right in his own eyes.” For record sake this is said two times. (Judges 17:6, Judges 21:25)

Much later we find this written in Isaiah 3:12 ” As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths.”

It is indeed clear to me that GOD was never happy with some of the things that were happening in Israel. It was never God’s will for a lady to bear rule. But for a reason known only to Himself, he suffered them to happen. Therefore, I may not be willing to take everything I read in the OT as a precedent to an opinion and enforce it as truth.

This is my understanding, GOD can take any one and use them as a channel for a direct “Thus saith the LORD”. He promised that at the opening of the Gospel dispensation He would pour His Spirit on all flesh, and He did.

As a result, we got nine gifts. And I agree fully that these were to apply to ALL. As far as the gift of prophecy was/is concerned, caution was to be exercised, however. You don’t want the enemy using that gift to lead the saints a stray, and so Paul directed that there be spiritually mature people to “judge” the prophecy by the WORD and accept it as Thus saith the LORD or simply reject it. (In scripture it’s called “Proving all things”). As I mentioned, this was a direct ‘Thus saith the LORD’ through a brother or a sister.

On the other hand, preaching ministry is radically different. God takes a man, puts him in the office of authority, directs him to study, pray and be an informed “scribe of the kingdom”. This man has to stand in a as a guide; to teach, rebuke with all authority, warn, reproof, instruct with an unimpeachable sound speech. This he does to the body of Christ; individual members, families, young generation et al. It’s at this point I wish to state that the lady is forbidden to handle this role of authority, and this will remain until Jesus Christ returns.

However, this is not to say that she has no role in the church. Paul directs that the older women teach younger women to be home keepers, lovers of their husbands and their children. This is a very IMPORTANT MINISTRY. Any minister worth his salt should start his ministry at home. If he fails at home, he CANNOT lead God’s house. That’s just how critical the home ministry is.

And this brings me to the last point. A man’s sincere love to his wife works miracles. I am assuming that the two are true born again Christians. True unfailing love to a wife makes the woman to WILLINGLY SUBMIT, yes, WILLINGLY. It’s deep. There will never be a competition to prove who is stronger. Never.

I challenge men to drop their despotic dispositions and learn about the power of true love in a marriage. It brings complete healing and causes all strives, heartaches, competitions and all BAD things to take flight.

For those ladies whom GOD has blessed with gifts of the Spirit, remain humble and in the Spirit and serve the LORD through them, albeit within the limits of the unfailing WORD. God bless you all.

Oh love of GOD, How rich and pure
    Oh measureless and strong!
    It shall forevermore endure
    The saints and angels song.

  12. This was a phenomenal post! As a husband, youth pastor, and someone who has just taught a marriage series at my church and studied the topic in depth, I am not interested in the woman’s role. I am to the extent that I had to teach on it, but it’s not my job to make sure my wife is “submissive”. God gave that as her job, Ephesians 4:22-24, 1 Peter 3:1-2, etc.

My job is to love her and sacrifice for her in such an extreme manner that she feels like she is the part in our marriage that has the greatest worth. When I love my wife as Christ loved the church, I create a wife who fits Proverbs 31 perfectly, and I believe my wife does.

If men in the Message spent more time loving their wives instead of lording it over them (See Matthew 20-:25-28, Jesus was saying, “25 Jesus called them together and said, “You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their high officials exercise authority over them. 26 Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, 27 and whoever wants to be first must be your slave— 28 just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.””

That is the type of husbands God wants to see. So men, shut up about your wives and other wives submitting, and start loving them and sacrificing for them the way God commanded.

  13. Thank you very much for taking the time to comment. It was my heart to neither go all the way to the right nor all the way to the left. My intent was to expose the balance lost. I personally have been told by ministry in the message, “should God have anything to say to me, He will tell my husband”. I respected that man, and those words hurt me deeply. They hindered my walk for quite some time. We do not choose the gifts we are given, in light of those gifts we need to realize they fall upon both men and women. Women are not to sit quietly knitting in the corner while the men receive an out-pouring of God’s spirit. He said, “I will pour out my Spirit upon ALL flesh. Your sons and your daughters will prophecy.” My post is not to negate the headship of the man, but rather to encourage the woman to be active at his side, hand in hand. Just as we are with Christ. It is a delicate issue and a balance to be desired. I am married and though I express my will and thoughts, I will submit to the decision of my husband. In turn, he listens and considers what I have to say on the matter in weighing his decision.

I believe the scriptures are very clear concerning the woman’s place in this matter:
“Likewise, I want women to adorn themselves with proper clothing, modestly and discreetly, not with braided hair and gold or pearls or costly garments, but rather by means of good works, as is proper for women making a claim to godliness. A woman must quietly receive instruction with entire submissiveness. But I do not allow a woman to teach or exercise authority over a man, but to remain quiet. For it was Adam who was first created, and then Eve. And it was not Adam who was deceived, but the woman being deceived, fell into transgression. But women will be preserved through the bearing of children if they continue in faith and love and sanctity with self-restraint.”

Honestly, this is a difficult passage to understand when you ask how Deborah judged Israel without exercising authority. How does a prophetess prophecy when prophecy is considered instruction, does she then prophecy to women only? I am ever learning, and it is my heart to fully understand the word of God and walk in it. The very fact that Paul said it, is enough for me to listen and know if I am submitting myself unto the Lord, He does all things well.

For the sisters out there who have been blessed with gifts in their life, and are afraid to use them. For the sisters that have been walked on and abused. For the sisters who think they have no right to even discuss the word of God for fear of “mishandling” the word, this post is for them. The word of God was not written to men only. And we all love to remember Eve caused the fall. But let us also remember, Adam loved her and stepped in for her when he could have left her. Let us also remember the blood of Jesus Christ paid for it all and we all stand fully redeemed, all of creation. Both male and female.

I am but an unworthy Gentile dog eating the crumbs from my masters table. But HE is my master and I love Him. According to His word, it is written for my instruction and I should read it, study it, and obey it. That instruction comes by the Holy Spirit.

Again, a very delicate balance we must all seek to achieve. I very much agree with all that you have shared, and ask that you remember me in your prayers that I am able to walk in this balance and never stray from it. I again thank you for your comment, I very much appreciated what you had to say and I take it to heart.

1 Corinthians 14 “For God is not a God of disorder but of peace—as in all the congregations of the Lord’s people.”

“Women should remain silent in the churches. They are not allowed to speak, but must be in submission, as the law says. If they want to inquire about something, they should ask their own husbands at home; for it is disgraceful for a woman to speak in the church.

Or did the word of God originate with you? Or are you the only people it has reached? If anyone thinks they are a prophet or otherwise gifted by the Spirit, let them acknowledge that what I am writing to you is the Lord’s command. But if anyone ignores this, they will themselves be ignored.

Therefore, my brothers and sisters, be eager to prophesy, and do not forbid speaking in tongues. But everything should be done in a fitting and orderly way.

  14. While it is true William Branham was a man much deceived, much confused and much NON “vindicated,” the BIBILICAL facts remain concerning the roles of each God created member of the human family.

Branham’s treatment of this subject suffers many errors. We are not indebted to Branham for much other than to drive serious regenerated men and women to the True Word of God.

The headship of man extends only as far as the Scriptures would indicate for Christians. A “husband” exercises headship concerning his wife and family. Other men have no such headship responsibilities over women in general and certainly not over other men’s wives.

Branham was in error regarding Eve and the fall. Adam stands tall as the sole responsible person concerning the entry of sin and death into the human race. We owe our mortality to “Dad” not to “Mom.” But saying so does not elevate womankind nor does it decrease her status.

Man and woman are genetically prone to make wide swings across the breath of the spectrum. “Balance” is the most difficult position to achieve.

Branham’s statement that America is a ‘woman’s nation’ might be closer to the truth [in many ways] than opponents of Branham would wish to admit. Perhaps not so strange that the writer, F. Scott Fitzgerald in his classic, “The Great Gatsby” has his character remark, ‘women are running around too much these days,’ as his critical remark concerning American women of his era. He also make a prophetic remark concerning the various ethnic branches of the human family intermarrying. Even pagan novelists are mirrors of their generation.

The “Message” is clearly and undeniably fraught with doctrinal error, mindless prejudice, gross cultural stupidity, failed prophecy, blatant lies and shall we say, a lack of biography concerning Branham’s “literary” works, “Seven Church Ages” edited by another.

I personally judge the entire Message foundation as built on sand. It fell long ago but like all cults it has an extended life span attributable to nervous reflex reaction after the clinical death of the body. It was actually a DOA.

I believe you have some creditable points in your forum I am wondering tho if you will become unbalanced and begin touting ‘women’s rights,’ women as pastors, priests, evangelists, teachers, leaders over the Church of the First Born. Or begin to cite women such as Joyce Myers and her ilk. It can become a problem for women “rescued” from the radical elements of the Message to then, like the Metronome, leave point A for point B.

Let’s not forget it WAS Eve who WAS deceived … in her mind. It was Eve who by the Voice of the Eternal One put her in subjection to her HUSBAND. It IS the daughters of Eve who are forbidden to exercise authority over men in the congregation, that is, the true BODY of Christ. What others do is theirs to answer for at that
    Day.

I trust your offerings will remain balanced and not as a plea for more “active” women to bully men in their congregations for a larger voice in spiritual matters, preaching, teaching, leadership.

Now that you have provided Scriptures highlighting the worth of the female of the species of which I have no problem also cite the Scriptures of how she is to appear before the Lord of Hosts.

Your future posts will clearly illustrate your true intentions.
